Families Blossoming

posted in: Parent Support | 2

Families Blossoming was and is inspired by Alejandro, my incredible little boy who entered this world prematurely at 24 weeks 3 years ago, weighing a whopping 645 grams (1 lb 4 oz).

It was created with the awareness that for many parents, leaving the NICU is in many ways the beginning, the understanding that this time of transition is a constantly changing one, the knowledge that readjusting back to a sense of normalcy takes time and the belief that when parents are thriving, families really do blossom.

I know too well how much support is truly needed during this time and unfortunately how little there actually is. Parents of premature and/or sick babies often feel a bit lost and even more so if their child has a special need.

My ongoing personal experiences combined with my coaching expertise, allow me to help Moms and Dads, like you, make practical & positive decisions and ultimately reach a point of clarity, direction and optimism for your lives, however this manifests itself.
